 Kachinas are representations of the spiritual essence
of everything in the real world. The
dolls depict men
dressed in Kachina masks for dances and ritual in order
to take on the spirit of the Kachina. The tradition of
Kachina dolls goes back at least 1500 years. The dolls
were given as gifts to
the women and children and hung
in homes to keep present the spirit of the Kachina.
The collection of Kachina dolls available through
Kachinas & Dolls provide maximum quality at a
reasonable price. Hand made by Navajos, they depict
traditional Hopi and modern Navajo Kachinas, as well as
today’s Pow-Wow Dancers and the popular Kokopelli.
Each of our Kachina dolls is handmade in New Mexico by
Navajo artists. They are all named signed and
numbered. Pictures are meant to give a representation of the
style and quality of the dolls, but the actual doll you
